PREAMBLE Recently in Lugbe, a suburb of the city of Abuja, Okada riders in a frenzied mob action descended on a car owner and stabbed him to death, following an accident that involved an Okada rider and the now deceased motorist. Not too long ago also, the daily Sun Newspaper reported an incident where a commercial motorbike operator and his female passenger were killed in an accident. Both were crushed by a truck on Oba Akran Road in Ikeja, Lagos State, one of the route motorbikes were restricted from.
