Prayer Guide For The Month Of April 2014

Dearly Beloved,

 

With great joy, I send out the Prayer Points for the first 7 Days of April, 2014. You surely will find them very exciting.

 

It is coming a little late as I just came back from the 2014 Africa Prayer Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

 

I appreciate you all who do these prayers faithfully. Great shall be your reward and our Nation shall be the better for it. Remember to print and make copies for others.

 

These prayers should be prayed at Family levels, House of Prayer Altars, Fellowship and Church Altars as the case may be. Few friends can also arrange to use their phones and do Conference Prayers utilizing those Midnight Free Call Hours.

 

In all, these Prayer Points are mere guidelines. I trust the Holy Spirit to enlarge them as you open up to Him. Leaders are encouraged to go through the Scriptures before the Prayer Times.

 

Don?t hesitate to send us suggestions that will make these Monthly Prayers more effective.

PRAYER GUIDE FOR THE

7 DAYS OF PROPHETIC NIGHT WATCHES

1ST APRIL ? 7TH APRIL 2014 (12MIDNIGHT ? 3AM)

 

DAY 1

PERSONAL PRAYERS OF CONSECRATION I

 

The level of consecration amongst believers today is alarmingly very low. God is calling for a deeper level of consecration and circumcision in the church because of what He plans to use us to accomplish in this prophetic season of AFRICA?S JUBILEE, with this understanding, let us therefore, begin this month?s Prayer with Personal Prayers of Consecration.

 

1. Take this song three or four times

 

Touch me one more time oh Lord!

2. Read 1 PETER 2:1

 

First of all, acknowledge and confess every known Personal sins, transgressions faults and flaws.

Be specific and detailed ? Malice, Deceit, Hypocrisy, Envy, Hatred, Complaining, Murmuring, Lies, White Lies, Half Truth, Jealousy, Emotional Infidelity, Pride, Arrogance, Financial Impropriety, Flippancy, Prayerlessness, Gossiping, Anger, Quarrelling, Lateness to Appointments, Unfaithfulness, Stubbornness, Disrespectfulness, Disloyalty, Rebellion, Strife, Craftiness, Impatience, Sexual Immorality.

 

3. Use PSALM 51:1-END to ask GOD to have mercy, to blot out every transgression, to cleanse you from sin, wash you to be whiter than snow, to create in you a new heart and to make you blameless in His sight.

 

4. MAL. 3:3

Invite GOD to sit over your life as a Refiner?s fire and a Washerman?s soap. Plead with Him to purify you as His priest.

 

5. Proclaim ROM. 12: 9-21 – Repeat the passage two times with strong lifted up voices. Pray and appropriate all the Christian virtues in this passage.

 

6. PSALM 68:31

GOD desires to transform us into Princes and Honourable Personalities. Pray therefore and ask GOD to cloth you with the character of honour, diligence and integrity.

7. 1 CHRON. 4:9

Jabez had brethren but he was MORE honourable than all of them despite his unpleasant circumstances. Ask GOD to make you like Jabez.

 

8. You remember Reuben and Esau in the bible. While Reuben was always unstable, Esau despised his birthright.

Cry out to GOD and reject the anointing that worked in these two men.

 

9. Ask GOD to enroll you into the school of the Holy Spirit and teach you how

to walk with Him on daily basis.

 

10. Micah 4:11

Ask GOD to make you stronger than the strong and position you to overcome all the defilement of Babylon.

 

11.? Micah 4:13

Pray that GOD will make your horn iron and give you shoes of brass. Commit yourself henceforth no longer to operate with plastic and wooden horns.

 

12. Pray and agree with GOD in prayer that all He purposes to achieve in you and

through you will not be aborted in this season.

 

13. Break bread and seal your prayers with thanksgiving.

 

 

DAY 2

PERSONAL PRAYERS OF CONSECRATION II

 

1. Begin today?s prayer with this song ? sing it a couple of times.

 

?Lord prepare me

A Sanctuary, pure and Holy

With thanksgiving,

I will be a living Sanctuary for you.

Read 1 PETER 2:1-4

-?????? Thank GOD for making you His own chosen and precious child. You are not common.

-?????? Thank HIM for making you a living stone, a Spiritual house and a Holy Priesthood.

-?????? Thank GOD for making you HIS own special child, called out of darkness into HIS marvelous light.

-?????? Thank GOD that once you were nobody but now you have become the child of GOD.

-?????? Thank GOD that before you had not obtained mercy but now, you have obtained mercy.

 

2.?? Proclaim – EPH. 6:10-18 ? Repeat the proclamation two times.

-?????? Ask for the grace to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

-?????? In this season of Nigeria?s Double Jubilee, ask GOD to make you strong spiritually, to make you strong in character, to make you strong financially and socially.

-?????? Ask GOD to cloth you with the whole armour of GOD. Mention them one-by-one and appropriate them in your life. ? The Belt of Truth, The Breastplate of Righteousness. Shoe of the Preparation of the Gospel of Peace, The Shield of Faith, The Helmet of Salvation, The Sword of the Spirit.

-?????? Ask GOD for the grace to persevere in Prayer always. Pray that your appetite in praying all manner of prayers will receive a boost in this season.

 

3.?? Proclaim this Scriptures aloud – GEN. 39:1-23

-?????? Notice that the secret of Joseph?s character of honour was that GOD was always with him. SEE VERSE 1 ? 2, 21 & 23.

-?????? Take time to pray that your life be always plugged in GOD.

-?????? Joseph held to the vision GOD gave him and it restrained him from sin. (1 JOHN 3:3). Pray that GOD will give you the focus, purity and concentration of Joseph.

-?????? Joseph held to the vision GOD gave him and it redeemed him from sorrow, complaining and murmuring. Pray that GOD will give you victory in these areas.

-?????? Read GEN. 37:5-10 – Pray that like Joseph, you will receive every promise and dream GOD has given you with childlike faith.

-?????? Read GEN. 39:4, 21 ? Ask GOD for the grace to triumph over every bad situation and not be bitter.

-?????? Read GEN. 39: 9 ? Pray for GOD?s enablement to stand with the fear of GOD and integrity in trials and temptations.

-?????? Read GEN. 41:16 ? Pray for the grace to always walk in humility before GOD and man.

-?????? Read GEN. 45: 5-7 ? Ask GOD to open your eyes so you can see everything in life from GOD?s perspective.

 

4.?? Joseph was a blessing to his brothers, family and to nations. Pray and make up

your mind, whatever price it may take to come into the Joseph generation.

 

5.?? Now present all your personal supplications to GOD and thank HIM for

answered prayers.

 

DAY 3

NATIONAL CONFERENCE I

 

1. Take two or three worship songs to come into the PRESENCE OF GOD.

 

2. Proclaim with lifted up voices ACTS 15: 1-29

 

3. Fasten these words over the entire NATIONAL CONFERENCE and pray that the Spirit that ruled the Jerusalem Council will also brood over the NIGERIA NATIONAL CONFERENCE.

 

4. Thank GOD that at last this NATIONAL CONFERENCE has become a reality despite all the initial oppositions.

 

5. Thank GOD that the Conference has adopted the second stanza of the National Anthem? –

 

Oh God of creation, direct our noble cause

Guide our leaders right

Help our youth the truth to know

In love and honesty to grow

And living just and true

Great lofty heights attain

To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign.

 

As the opening and closing prayer for all sittings of the Conference. This is a VICTORY for GOD and the Nation.

 

6. Let us therefore proclaim this 2nd Stanza of the NATIONAL ANTHEM seven times.

 

7. Make every line of it a Prayer Point and elaborate on it in prayer. Allow the Holy Spirit to enlarge these prayers in your heart.
8. Legislate that henceforth this will be adopted nationally as our National Prayer in all state occasion.

 

9. Pray to sanctify the NATIONAL JUDICIAL INSTITUTE (NJI), Abuja which is the Venue of the NATIONAL CONFERENCE. Pray that the blood of Jesus will purge and cleanse that entire complex from its foundation to the roof top.

 

1. Raise the altar of the LORD at the venue and fortify the place with the strong presence of GOD.

 

1. Let us dedicate the official website of the Conference ? (www. nigerianationalconference.org) to GOD. Now that the world is now in the digital age, pray that the public especially the church should utilize this website to pass information/suggestions to the delegates.

 

2. Pray that the invisible hand of the LORD will guide, instruct and direct the proceedings of the Conference.

 

3. Pray and dedicate all the working documents already with each delegate to the Conference. Pray that they will be delight in studying these documents and that GOD will grant them all the understanding and wisdom they stand in need of.

 

4. As was the case in the Jerusalem Council, pray that this NATIONAL CONFERENCE will achieve the goal of strengthening our union and addressing weighty National matters that are often and too frequently ignored.

 

DAY 4

NATIONAL CONFERENCE II

(SPECIAL DAY OF PRAISE AND PROPHETIC DANCING)

 

1. Let’s begin today by proclaiming ? PSALM 107: 1-END

 

2. Sing the song that is repeated at verse 8, 15, 21 and 31. Use it to dance generously before the LORD for all the battles HE fought to make the NATIONAL CONFERENCE a living reality and for the victories already won.

3. Declare PSALM 62:12 seven times over the entire venue of the Conference and over the head of every delegate. Insist by prayer that only the Power of GOD will rule over this Conference.

 

4. COL. 2:15 ? Prophesy that every other power will fail and be disgraced in this Conference. Mention them ? occult power, water spirit power, new age power, idolatrous power, witchcraft power, power of necromancy and divination.

 

5. The Federal Government has deployed hundreds of Anti-Riot Policemen to the venue of the on-going Conference in Abuja as a measure to forestall any protest and breakdown of law and order by the delegates. Pray GOD to dispatch His unseen angels to do a better work of keeping the entire Conference perpetually under divine check. (PSALM 68:17)

 

6. Read EXODUS 31:1-3

Pray that all these delegates from various tribes and organizations will be filled with the Spirit of GOD in wisdom, understanding and in all skillfulness. Mention the names of those delegates known to you.

 

7. Let us present the KEY OFFICERS of the NATIONAL CONFERENCE before the Almighty ?

Dr. Valerie ? Janette Azinge ? Secretary

 

Ask GOD to truly prove them to be the best persons suitable for this job. Pray for wisdom and divine presence of mind.

 

8. Pray that all delegates will manifest strong sense of responsibility, commitment and patriotism. It must not be like our National Assembly where some elected members absent themselves from meetings and others sleep while important issues are being discussed on the floor of the house.

 

9. The NATIONAL CONFERENCE has proposed setting up 20 Committees as it begins, its work in earnest. Pray that the right persons will be elected to oversee all these Committees.

 

1. Bring your personal prayer points to GOD and thank Him for answered prayers.

 

 

DAY 5

PRAYER FOR NIGERIA

 

1. Start with two or three Choruses

Proclaim EZEKIEL 37:1-14 ? Repeat the proclamation.

 

2. Let us acknowledge GOD over Nigeria as the ALMIGHTY who is able to do everything, even dry bones to live again.

 

3. Let us declare that there is none of HIS purposes over Nigeria that shall be withheld from HIM. (JOB 42:2)

 

4. Let us declare in prayers that the numerous ?dry bone? situations in Nigeria are not greater than GOD and His people.

 

5. Let us prophesy and declare as follows that: (Please pray it one after the other)

 

-?????? The insecurity challenge in Nigeria is not an Impossibility.

-?????? The destiny of Nigeria is not Unachievable.

-?????? The energy/power problems of Nigeria is not Irredeemable.

-?????? The peace and unity of Nigeria are not Unattainable.

-?????? The educational problem of Nigeria is not Unsolvable.

-?????? The problem of corruption in Nigeria is not Insurmountable.

-?????? The infrastructural transformation of Nigeria is not Unthinkable.

-?????? The judgment of all wicked thrones and altars together with evil Priesthoods is not Inconceivable.

-?????? The emergence of Righteous leadership at all levels in Nigeria is not Unobtainable.

 

6. Let us programme all these legislations into the Sun that rules the day and the Moon that guides the night. Let us boldly affirm that with GOD nothing shall be impossible in Nigeria. (LUKE 1:37)

 

7. EZEKIEL 37:5

Let us ask GOD to cause His breath to enter into the ?dry bone? situations of all our institutions and sectors of life in Nigeria, so they will live and not die. (Mention them by their name)

 

8. EZEKIEL 37:6

Some of these institutions are emaciated so badly. Ask GOD to bring flesh on them and cover them with beautiful skin.

 

9. EZEKIEL 37:7-10

Ask GOD to raise a company of obedient and committed prophetic watchmen over this nation who will not be silent or hold their peace until GOD makes Nigeria a praise in the earth.

 

1. EZEKIEL 37:12

Ask GOD to open the graves and bring all aspects of our National life out of the grave. That includes ? Our Politics, our PHCN, Education, HealthCare Delivery, Agriculture, Family Life, Church etc.

 

1. EZEKIEL 37:14, ISA. 32:15

Pray that the Spirit of GOD will be poured upon the Nation of Nigeria so that every wilderness will become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field grows to become a forest.

 

2. Bring your personal challenges to GOD and give Him thanks for answered prayers.

 

 

DAY 6

PRAYER OF LAMENTATION AND JUDGMENT

 

1. Take this song many times

 

Arise oh Lord!

Let your enemies be scattered

Arise oh Lord!

Oh Lord! Oh Lord! ARISE!

 

Proclaim with lifted up voices ? PSALM 74:1-END three times.

2. Fasten these words into the heavens and demand that it takes hold of all enemies of GOD and Nigeria.

 

3. PSALM 74:1

Ask GOD to have mercy on Nigeria and not cast her out in His anger.

 

4. PSALM 74: 2

Pray that GOD will remember the church in the midst of the land, show her mercy and grant her pardon.

5. Using the words of PSALM 74:3-4 ? Ask GOD to lift up His feet and step into the perpetual desolations in Nigeria especially in Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Nasarawa, Benue, Kaduna and other trouble spots in the North.

 

6. PSALM 74:3-4

Plead with Him to bring judgment upon all the havoc, bloodshed, destructions the enemy has done wickedly in Nigeria. Let Him silence their voices and break their banners.

 

7. PSALM 74:5-6

Ask the LORD to disarm the Boko Haram insurgents. Let GOD beat the axes, hammers, bombs, guns, daggers etc out of their hands.

 

8. PSALM 74:7-8

Pray that the jealousy, anger of GOD will be provoked by their mercilessness especially because of the continued massacre of school children and the burning of churches.

 

9. Proclaim PSALM 74:9-11 ? Repeat this proclamation two times

Raise a mighty cry and lamentation and ask GOD not to allow the enemy blaspheme His name forever. Remind Him all the atrocities of Boko Haram in the land. 1000 have died and 250,000 people displaced by insurgency in the last three months.

 

1. Ask the LORD not to withhold His hand anymore but to take it out of His bosom and destroy them. (Verse 11)

 

1. Repeat PSALM 74:12-17 ? As a proclamation.

Use it to remind GOD of His greatness, power, sovereignty and mighty acts of the past.? Ask Him to intervene and solve this riddle of insecurity in Nigeria.

 

2. Pray and remind GOD that the enemy has reproached Him enough by this continued senseless bloodshed in the land. Ask Him to arise and not forget our precious lives but deliver us from these wild beasts.

 

3. PSALM 74:20, PSALM 105:11

Because ?the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty?. Let us ask the Lord to have respect to the covenant by which He gave us the Land of Nigeria as the allotment of our inheritance. Ask Him to defend the Nation of Nigeria against all forms of aggression whether internal or external.

 

4. Finally, ask GOD to ride the heavens of Nigeria with His patrol escorts to dismantle every satanic installations against His purpose in the Nation.
5. Give GOD praise for answered prayers and present your personal and family needs to Him.

 

 

DAY 7

ENTERING INTO JOSEPH?S MODEL OF FRUITFULNESS

 

Joseph experienced fruitfulness at two levels. While as a slave in Potiphar?s house and also as a prefect in the prison. However, a day came and every conceivable limitation was broken over him. He came into full liberty that enabled him experience fruitfulness at the highest level.

This can be your personal experience as you diligently pray these prayers.

1. Proclaim GEN. 41:37-57

 

2. Pray that GOD will bring you through the Joseph kind of transition that will enable you become extremely fruitful in all your endeavours.

 

3. Renounce every form of tribal, social, family and historical bondages that have disabled you from serving GOD with liberty.

 

4. HOS. 2:15

Pray according to this passage that the blessings of God will transform every valley of trouble in your life into the door of hope for you and your entire family.

 

5. Joseph knew something about a next phase of life. From serving a couple of prisoners to serving a whole Nation. Pray that GOD will broaden the horizon of your career and calling in this New Season.

 

6. A day came and Joseph was no longer to be restricted within the confines of a prison compound. He could now move in service all over the Nation of Egypt. Pray therefore and break every limitation to fruitfulness and enlargement in your life, ministry, academics, finances etc.

 

7. Read DEUT. 15:1-2

There is something called ?The Lord?s Release? it is not release by man but by GOD. Pray and bring yourself, business, family and calling into the Lord?s Release. Remember this is the Second 7^th Year in this millennium.

 

8. Read GEN. 41:47-49 ? Repeat the reading two times

Mark the following phrases and adjectives and pray them into your life, family and business.

Ground brought forth abundantly.

Gathered very much grain.

As the sand of the Sea shore.

Until he stopped counting.

For it was immeasurable.

 

9. Read GEN. 41:50-52

Pray that GOD will bring you into a new level of faithfulness in all department of life that will make you forget your previous years of suffering and barrenness.

 

1. Ask GOD to enable you enter into the season of ?the birth of Ephraim? ? ?For GOD has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction?. It is a time of Double Fruitfulness (Spiritual and Physical) for GOD?s honour and glory.

 

1. JER. 40:4

Pray for such a great release that will open limitless doors of opportunities to you in the cities and Nations of the world.

 

2. Pray that believers will have the foresight to begin to syndicate funds that will give them capacity to enter into big time businesses and ventures.

 

3. Conclude the prayers by breaking bread and Seal it with thanksgiving and praises.
