DAY 7
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
REV.?19:16
There has been a noticeable increase in heaviness and weariness in the Body of Messiah in Israel. We are aware of the end-time prophetic warning of the present happenings (DAN. 7:21-25). Yet, to go through it is very hard. So we pray for strength and encouragement for this young, but quickly growing Body.
?
MATT.?16:18; 1 COR. 3:16-17;?6:19; 2 COR.?6:16
Pray that the Lord would continue to build His Temple made with living stones – for His holy name’s sake, and enable Israeli believers to wait upon Him for divine strength (ISA. 40:31).
There is a definite increase of terrorist and rocket attacks on Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu and other officials see this as a direct result of the P5+1 Iranian nuclear deal. One of the worst parts of this deal is the release to Iran of around $150 billion. A significant sum will go to their terror proxies world-wide. So those groups are trying to show Iran how worthy they are to receive a piece of that money-pie. Israel needs even more prayers for security after this deal.
Pray that the Lord would give increased alertness to all Israeli security forces and aid those guarding the borders of Israel – to be in the right place at the right time (MAL. 1:5).
Ask that the Lord would give Israel a major breakthrough in developing anti-terror tunnel detection devices. Thank Him also for all the progress that has been made up to this time on that problem.
Pray that as the Israelis recover from the trauma of last summer’s conflict, and send their children back to school this week, God would bring deep comfort, peace and healing to parents and children in the southern communities on the Gaza periphery.
Ask that Jesus would reveal Himself to many of Israel’s traumatized children and youths.
PSALM 121:4; JER. 31:10, PSALMS 30:1-2
Thank God for His precious promises of protection for the nation of Israel. Whether the terrorists or rockets hit or harm anyone or anything, their satanic goal is the death and destruction of the nation of Israel and its people. Pray that God would help Israel to respond in a biblical manner and may the fear of God, Israel’s God, be the end result (2 CHRON.?17:10)
Cry to God to foil all future terrorist attacks and kidnapping attempts against the people of Israel.
PSALMS 9:19-20
Ask Him to release the Israeli security forces from the current humanistic ‘rules of engagement’ that has handcuffed them. Pray also that international pressure would not prevent Israel from pre-empting future attacks.
Pray that God would protect all Israel’s spies and informants among both the Palestinians and surrounding nations.
Palestinians are training their children to hate Israel and the Jews and to be willing to kill and be killed for Allah’s sake. This generation is so brainwashed that unless God intervenes, they would be lost (PROV. 22:6). Ask God to arise, and save a remnant of this next Palestinian generation.
1SAM 17:48-54
Early this year, it did not look likely that Bibi Netanyahu would win the Israeli elections but God heard the prayers of His people and he won overwhelmingly. Pray that in the same way the American Congress will turn down the demonically-inspired Iranian nuclear deal regardless of what the headlines are saying now.
Call upon the Lord and remind Him that as He did in the past with the enemies of Israel like Pharaoh, Sihon, Og, Cyrus, etc, He would intervene again now and cause the US Congress to say ‘No!’ to the Iranian nuclear deal. (PROV. 21:1)
As God?s watchmen, both from Israel and various nations, say ‘No’ to this deal, because it is not of God, pray that the Lord world endorse that word and establish it. 2 CHRON.?14:11
Deal with the spirit of enchantment that seems to have taken over many of these people, that makes them willing to say yes to what is so obviously one of the worst foreign policy deals in US history.
Ask the Lord to expose any and all hidden agreements to this deal before the final vote on?September 17.
Pray and ask God to wake up the Church to persistently pray and act against this “agreement with hell” ISA. 28:14-18
Let the Church in America see how dangerous this is to their nation – as their leader has basically sold out Israel in favour of the world’s largest terrorist backing regime. NUM. 23:9B; JER. 2:3
JER 29:11; 31:3, 10, 17, 35-37; 32:37-44; 33:14
Remind the Lord that He brought His people back to the land of Israel for good and not for destruction, therefore we look to Him to be the ultimate Captain of Israel’s hosts and pray that He would guide their leaders to do whatever they need to do to protect and keep the people alive so that they can be saved and welcome back Jesus – their Messiah.
Pray therefore that God would help to prepare the IDF for whatever it will be called upon to do in these days to defend the nation of Israel and destroy its enemies.
PSALM 133:1-3
Plead for unity in the security cabinet over all decisions that are from the Spirit of God. Pray and ask God to impart to Netanyahu and all other responsible leaders the courage to do what needs to be done – and to not be tied down by political correctness, media manipulation or the fear of man. PROV.?21:31; 29:25
PSALM 83
God’s enemy plots to wipe Israel off the map. Note that most of the enemy nations in psalm 83 are ‘history’ yet Israel remains! Pray that God would do it again!
ISA. 43:5-7, 21
Intercede for the immigration of Jews from exile back home (known as ?aliyah?). Figures indicate there has been an increase in the number of Jews returning home this year, especially from Ukraine. Pray that God would continue to bring His people back from all the nations of the earth – regardless of their philosophy, lifestyle, or religious inclinations – because it is there that He will reveal His Son, Messiah Yeshua, to them (ZECH.?12:10).
Thank God for Israel’s Interior Minister Silvan Shalom who stated that he wants to liberalize the ?aliyah? process. Pray that the Lord would hold him to his words and move upon him to do it (ISA. 62:10)
